Dr. Wyatt Sommer grew up around animals his entire life and has always envisioned himself as a veterinarian.
He started his veterinary journey shadowing large animal vets but soon found his passion with the cats and dogs at his local vet clinic in Indiana. He would later attend Purdue University for his undergraduate and veterinary degree.
After graduating from veterinary school in May 2023, he moved to North Carolina to be with his wife. He is excited to be starting his career here at Riverbark.
Alma Mater: Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine
Special Interests: Internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
Hobbies: Spending time with his wife and cats, hiking, and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
